Services and Information
I love WordPress, it is one of the most popular tools on the web for a reason and it is currently behind over 20% of the worlds top websites.
Combining relative simplicity of use with an awesome amount of flexibility gives WordPress the power to pretty much run any website you can think of, and a few more besides!
What type of clients can I work with?
I prefer to work with small to medium sized businesses who know what type of website their business needs and have a clear goal for creating a site that will help them take their online presence to the next level. I also work with business owners who have an existing website and want to use WordPress to take control of their own web content.
Bespoke Design and Development
I write custom code based on your branding and content, using the latest in semantic code, SEO friendly web pages and the additional functionality required by each individual project.
I am lucky to have made links with some great people in the web industry and am able to collaborate with Graphic Designers, Photographers, Content Writers, SEO and Social Media Marketers and even traditional printers to provide the services needed for each website.
Training and Advice
I do a lot of training with my clients and with the wider WordPress community to ensure that the platform is utilised to the best of its abilities. Like a small child, a little WordPress love goes a long way and taking the time to learn a few basic skills can ensure that WordPress gives back to its creators.
Maintenance and Security
WordPress is constantly evolving and updating, that’s what makes it so great! It also means that your WordPress website will need a little TLC from time to time, its also important to ensure that your website is backed up so that you have a rescue if things go wrong. I provide this service to my clients, optionally, for a small monthly fee.
So how much does all this cost?
The answer: It depends.
It depends on lots of factors; time limitations, the project size, its requirements in terms of design, development, functionality and scope. Once I have a clear picture of all these factors I can put a proposal in place with estimated costings.

So how long does it take?
Again: It depends.
A lot depends on the client, how much ‘stuff’ they need to collect together to give the site it’s character and content, plus some other factors such as Graphic Design and Hosting setup can also affect time scales. I can usually give a pretty accurate timeline when I understand the factors involved.
